Blow Hole

The Blow Hole is a popular tourist attraction at The Nobbies in Phillip Island. It is essentially a large sea cave that creates a huge water spray from the cave entrance during big southern swells.

It’s worth checking out this site if you are in the area.

It makes for a unique sight you won’t see anywhere else, so bring your camera. Pack your binoculars too to see Australia’s biggest fur seal colony – just one and a half kilometres.

Other exciting things to do during your day trip to The Nobbies to see the Blow Hole include visiting the sea bird gardens. Silver gulls leave their nests here during the spring, and their adorable chicks can be seen. Depending on the season, you may also be lucky to see small penguins.

If you love animals and nature, a treat to the Blow Hole and its surrounding attractions in The Nobbies will be a thrill.
