Fishing is another popular activity in Flynns Beach. During high tide, one can enjoy deep water fishing. However, the reefs and rocks on either end of the beach are also abundant with fish.
The best time for surfing Flynns Beach is during the winter during the high tide. Be cautious as sharks and rocky areas can be a danger, so it may be best left to experienced surfers and swimmers.
Flynns Beach is excellent for sun-seekers who want to get their tan on. Keep in mind that the beach isn’t patrolled, and dogs aren’t allowed. A toilet can be found near the car park. Explore the area some more by strolling to the viewing platform or carpark, and from here you can check out the historic jetty. From the jetty, visitors can explore the Nobbies area as well.
