Superbike World Championship Phillip Island 2025 Dates, Schedule & Tickets

The 2025 MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship returns to the iconic Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit from FEB 21 – 23 for the season-opening Australian Round!

The 2025 Australian event is setting the scene for the most anticipated #WorldSBK season opener yet at the acclaimed Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit. The WorldSBK championship has returned every year since 1990, bar 1993.

No other circuit on the global tour has hosted as many rounds, with riders, teams and fans flocking for three decades to the sweeping turns and thrillingly fast 4.445 km circuit that borders the stunning ocean vista of Bass Strait.

Over the event weekend, you will get to see two-wheel racing action you won’t believe on a challenging and formidable race track that is the fastest in the world.

The motorcycles that race in the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship are based on recent or current production bikes on sale to the general public through the normal manufacturer channels.

Being an internationally renowned race, the Superbike World Championship is one of the top three global motorsport series alongside Formula 1 and MotoGP and is televised to millions of people worldwide.

The World Superbike Championship is a series of 14 races over three continents, and Phillip Island is stage one of the Championship. As the season opener, be one of the first to see your favourite riders test their new bikes in the 2025 season. The championship regulations allow four-cylinder bikes of up to 1000cc or twins up to 1200cc.

Entry is FREE into the WORLDSBK Expo, located alongside Gardner Straight, showcasing many major motorcycle manufacturers and suppliers with the latest news and releases.

Super screens are strategically positioned around the circuit in premium viewing locations, including Gardner Straight North and South, at the Start/Finish line, Doohan Corner, Siberia and Turn 10, giving you uninterrupted viewing of all the world-class racing action.

Purchase your Pit Walk pass for Saturday and Sunday from the Event Information Office, located at the base of the pedestrian overpass on Gardner Straight (until sold out).

The Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit Visitor Centre will be open to event patrons. Located within the Visitor Centre, the Champions Cafe is the perfect place to take a break, relax and watch live coverage of the event. Check out all the official event and Circuit merchandise, try your skills on the GP Slot Car track and Simulator Race Centre or browse through the History of Motorsport Display and marvel at the superb collection of 25 Grand Prix motorcycles from the famous Italian marques, Aprilia and Cagiva.
