Just a couple of hours southeast of Melbourne, this idyllic island is one of the major tourist attractions in Victoria. With its perfect blend of white sandy beaches, scenic wetlands, wonderful wildlife species, and the sea, Phillip Island is too irresistible to ignore.

Phillip Island Chocolate Factory is hard to miss for visitors with a sweet tooth. Located near the entry to Phillip Island, it is one of the first attractions visitors will see. Here, visitors can take a tour of the factory and learn the intricate process that transforms simple cocoa beans into delectable bars of chocolate.
From the chocolate factory, many visitors drive further into the island and stop at A Maze ‘n Things and the Koala Conservation Centre within a minute or so of each other. A Maze ‘n Things has a maze and numerous indoor activities for kids of all ages. The Koala Conservation Centre allows visitors to interact with the koalas in their natural environment for an authentic experience.
Head south of the island to see the famous Grand Prix Circuit, which hosts World Superbikes and the Moto GP. In the south, head southwest to the island’s edge and check out the Nobbies, which offers gorgeous views of Bass Strait and is a popular spot for checking out the seals lazing around on the Seal Rocks.
Make sure you visit the biggest attraction on the island, the Fairy Penguin Parade. This is located on the island’s south-west, on your way back from The Nobbies. At every sunset, these cute and amazing penguins return to their dune burrows after an active day searching for food and rest.
